Frequently asked questions

The PROTOS 105 requires 1xCR2032 battery in the device housing.

The battery is inserted with the + pole pointing towards the battery cover.

Please check the maximum permissible distance between the magnet and transmitter. This must not be greater than 3 mm.

Please check that the handlebar bracket is mounted correctly. The cable must exit the handlebar bracket in the direction of travel.

Please check the cable for damage.

Please check whether there is a silicone spacer in the centre of the handlebar holder. If this is missing, there may be play in the handlebar holder. We will be happy to send you a new silicone spacer. Please contact our service department.

The PROTOS 205 requires 2xCR2032 batteries, 1x in the device housing and 1x for the transmitter.

The battery is inserted with the + pole pointing towards the battery cover.

Check the maximum permissible distances between the components. These are 3 mm between magnet and transmitter and 60 cm between transmitter and computer.

Please check whether the battery in the transmitter is full.

If there is no speed display despite a full battery, the transmitter may be defective and must be replaced.

Please check whether there is a silicone spacer in the centre of the handlebar holder. If this is missing, there may be play in the handlebar holder. We will be happy to send you a new silicone spacer. Please contact our service department.
